Deputy President of the Senate Barau Jibrin has welcomed Dr. Yahuza Getso, a member of the national caucus of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Dr Getso, an indigene of Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano North Senatorial District, announced his exit from the NNPP when he visited Senator Barau Jibrin at his Abuja residence.
Barau announced the development through his social media accounts on Friday.
“While appreciating our interventions across critical spheres in our state, he said he joined us in the APC to contribute his quota to address the challenges facing our dear state and the country.
“Welcome on board Dr. Getso, we look forward to working with you towards the success of our party, our region and the country at large,” he said.
