A famous director in Kannywood Aminu Surajo Bono, aka Aminu S. Bono, has passed on.
He died suddenly on Monday evening and his funeral prayer will hold by 8am Tuesday at their family house in Dandago area of Kano, according sources in the Hausa film industry.
Dateline Nigeria reports that the death of the director sent the Kannywood industry into mourning.
Actress Aisha Humaira, in a short video, sent her condolences to familiy, friends and fans of the director, and promised to ensure the payment of his debt.
She said the late Aminu S. Bono was very close to her and she would try to honour him even in death. She also urged Kannywood players to be tolerant and bear no grudges against colleagues because death can come without notice.
