In a bid to ensure seamless Hajj operations in 2024, the Kaduna State Government today inaugurated the 2024 Pilgrimage Committee composed of persons of high pedigree and impeccable character.
Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe inaugurated the eight-member committee to be chaired by Sheik Salisu S Abubakar.
Inaugurating the committee today in a brief ceremony in her office attended by the Secretary to the State Government, Members of the State Assembly and Senior Government officials, the Deputy Governor said Governor Uba Sani is aware of the challenges faced in previous Hajj exercises leading to unnecessary hardships for Kaduna pilgrims hence there is the need to collectively rectify the gaps and create improved arrangements that prioritize the welfare of pilgrims.
Dr Balarabe thanked the members of the committee for accepting to serve saying that Governor Sani nominated them because of their dedication and commitment to the progress of Kaduna state and the welfare of its people.
The eight members of the committee are
