Speaking with the media on the matter, the Director General promised to ensure justice for the victims and also diligent prosecution of the suspect involved in the matter.
She thanked members of NACTAL under the leadership of Mr. Abdulganiyu Abubakar for their support and collaboration with the Agency and urged other stakeholders to emulate the Civil Society Organization.
The Director General disclosed that the relevant department of NAPTIP would commence a comprehensive rehabilitation care for the girl with emphasis on her health status, which has been seriously affected by the level of abuse and exploitation she faced.
Also speaking at the reception, the NACTAL National President commended NAPTIP for the prompt response and care for the victim and promised sustained support to the Agency.
