The Kaduna North Local Government Council, under the leadership of Hon. Muhammad Gambo Zion, in collaboration with the Muslim World League, has flagged off a free surgical outreach for individuals suffering from cataracts (Yanar Ido) and other eye-related ailments.
The screening exercise will take place from 5th to 6th October 2025 (today and tomorrow, from 8 am to 4 pm)
Individuals with minor eye conditions will receive free medication, while those requiring surgery for cataract (Yanar Ido) will undergo free surgical procedures at Al-Shifa Hospital, Unguwan Kanawa.
