Police Operatives attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Awkuzu, working with Personnel from Neni Divisional Headquarters, have arrested five male suspects in connection with vandalism and theft at an International Company located at Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The operatives recovered one (1) pump action gun, ten (10) live cartridges, and one (1) black motorcycle during the intelligence-led operation on December 8, 2025.
The suspects are: Okemili Chikwado – 20 years, Collins Nwakpa – 23 years, Chukwuemeka Igboke – 18 years, Nwali Chinedu – 18 years, and Ekene Nwakwo – 22 years respectively.
Upon arrest and subsequent interrogation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in the crime and named one Arinze as their major receiver of the stolen properties.
Further investigation is ongoing, and efforts are underway to apprehend other fleeing suspects and recover the stolen/vandalised equipment.
