Barrister Muhammad Hassan, a House of Representatives member representing the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency in Kano State has passed on.
Dateline Nigeria reports that the lawmaker died at a hospital in Abuja on the night of Friday after battling a long-term illness for over a year.
His funeral prayer (janaza) is slated to hold at 2pm on Saturday in Abuja.
The deceased is survived by three wives and 18 children.
