The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Congress Committee for Zamfara State and Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, on Tuesday led a courtesy visit to Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal at his office in Gusau ahead of the party’s congress scheduled for Wednesday.
The visit came as final preparations intensify for the exercise, which is expected to shape the APC’s structure in the state.
After the meeting with Governor Lawal, Dr. Balarabe and committee members, joined by senior government officials, proceeded to inspect the designated venue for the congress. The inspection was aimed at assessing readiness and ensuring all logistics are in place for a smooth process.
Later in the day, the committee chairman presided over a review session with all members to assess preparations and address any outstanding issues ahead of the congress.
The APC congress in Zamfara is part of the party’s nationwide effort to strengthen its grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
