The Minister of State for Regional Development, Uba Maigari Ahmadu, on Friday, received Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua and retired Major General Abubakar Adamu at his office in Abuja for discussions on national security and development.
Senator Yar’Adua, who represents Katsina Central Senatorial Zone in the National Assembly, chairs the Senate Committee on Army and also leads the Northern Senators Forum.
Retired Maj. Gen. Abubakar Adamu is the former Commander of the Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the executive and legislative arms of government, with an emphasis on advancing national security and socio-economic development under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Both parties expressed a shared commitment to building strategic partnerships and sustainable policies aimed at promoting national growth and stability.
