President Bola Tinubu and state governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), also known as the Progressives Governors‘ Forum, met on Thursday at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The governors were earlier at a meeting of the National Economic Council chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
The meeting, which began since Wednesday, discussed issues around the 2027 general elections. The meeting could not be concluded on Wednesday, hence its continuation on Thursday after the NEC meeting.
