The State Commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Taraba State Command, CN Javanson Talayedi Kwalma, has paid a visit to Dr. Agbu Kefas, Governor of Taraba State, at the T.Y. Danjuma House, Jalingo.
The visit focused on appreciating the Taraba State Government for support in the fight against illicit drug trafficking and drug abuse in the state.
It further sought continued government support for drug supply reduction, demand reduction, WADA advocacy, rehabilitation and other preventive interventions.
During the engagement on Wednesday, the State Commander presented a commemorative plaque and the latest edition of the NDLEA magazine to His Excellency as a mark of appreciation and a symbol of the enduring partnership between the Agency and the State Government.
Governor Kefas reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting security agencies and strengthening collective efforts towards making Taraba State safer, healthier and drug-free.
The visit further reinforced the shared commitment of the NDLEA and Taraba State Government to a sustained and coordinated response to the drug problem across the State.
