The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has disowned a fraudulent recruitment notice currently circulating on social media and other platforms.
In a public notice on Sunday, the Service said it was alerted to the notice purporting to advertise employment opportunities within the organisation.
“The NRS wishes to state categorically that the notice did not originate from the Service and that no such recruitment exercise has been authorised or commenced by the NRS,” it said.
The Service advised members of the public to disregard the notice and exercise caution when responding to recruitment advertisements, messages or links purportedly from the NRS.
It further warned the public not to make any payment or disclose personal or financial information, or submit certificates or identification documents in response to the fraudulent notice.
