No payment required for drug test of new interior ministry recruits – NDLEA

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has said no payment is required for the Drug Integrity Test, DIT, for new intakes of agencies under the Ministry of Interior.

The agency said this in a public notice issued on Friday, October 30, 2026, by its Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi.

According to the NDLEA, arrangements have been concluded for the conduct of the mandatory Drug Integrity Test as part of the recruitment process for applicants into the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

“The Agency wishes to emphasise that no payment is required from any candidate or personnel presenting for the Drug Integrity Test, as the Ministry of Interior has already made bulk payment to cover the testing of its new intakes,” the statement said.

“Consequently, all participating agencies and their personnel are advised not to make any payment to NDLEA officials, testing centres or through any other payment channel in respect of this exercise.”

The agency said to facilitate a seamless and orderly testing process, candidates are required to access the NDLEA Drug Integrity Test portal through the designated link or access point to be provided on their respective institutional portals.

It said the arrangement will enable candidates to access the NDLEA DIT platform, complete registration and documentation and proceed with the testing without making additional payments.

The agency appreciated the cooperation of the Ministry of Interior and said it remains committed to ensuring a smooth, transparent and efficient implementation of the exercise.
