Niger State Governor and Chairman North Central Governors Forum, Abubakar Sani Bello has condoled with the Government and people of Nasarawa State over the sudden death of the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Chairman Mr Philip Tatari Shekwo.
Governor Sani Bello, in a condolence message, expressed shock over the unfortunate incident, even as he described the deceased as a peaceful, committed and dedicated party Leader.
He said “this is most unfortunate but God is not unaware and yet He allowed it for a purpose, May God comfort the immediate family, the APC members and the entire people of Nasarawa State”.
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello also prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The deceased was said to have been kidnapped late Saturday from his residence and by Sunday morning, his corpse was said to have been found few metres away from his residence.
Until his death, Mr Philip Tatari Shekwo was the Nasarawa State APC Chairman.
