Kaduna State has said that 39 people have tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday out of a total of 123 samples analysed.
According to an update shared by Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, the new cases are in Kaduna North 19, Kaduna South 4, Giwa 7, Jema’a 1, Sabon-Gari 6 and Zangon Kataf 2.
It also stated that 74 patients are due for discharge after recovering from the virus.
Dateline Nigeria reports that this is a significant drop from the 125 number of infections reported on Saturday.
It would be recalled that Governor El-Rufai, who entered isolation after coming into contact with positive persons, has warned that another lockdown is possible in the state if the number of infections keep rising.
