PDP NWC commends Tambuwal for prudent management

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has been commended by the People’s Democratic Party National Working Committee (PDP-NWC) for prudent management of resources accruing to the state.

The National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus who gave the commendation on behalf of the party also noted that Gov. Tambuwal deserves more commendation for ploughing the scarce resources at his disposal into the execution of various developmental projects in the state.

According to Secondus while inaugurating the dualisation of the Tashar Illela-Achida junction, on Wednesday, considering the number of projects being simultaneously executed in the state, the Gov. Tambuwal is fulfilling the promises he made.

This effort, the PDP Chairman said, can happen only in a PDP-controlled state, emphasizing that the road when completed will have direct impact on the socio-economic well-being people of the.people of Sokoto state.

Mr Secondus expressed appreciation with the style of leadership of Gov.Tambuwal and urged him to maintain the tempo.

Speaking earlier, Gov. Tambuwal said the road is a very important one linking many local government areas in the state.

He also explained that it is a strategic one that links Nigeria and Niger Republic, stating that when completed it will ease business activities in the state, Nigeria and Niger Republic.

Tambuwal added that the contract was awarded at the cost of N2.8 billion and is scheduled to be completed within 9 months.
