A woman has given birth to triplets – two boys and one girl – at One Primary Health Care facility in Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State.
The woman, a resident of Tashan Aduwa, Unguwar Lamba, Gakole Yarimaram Ward, Potiskum.
The delivery was conducted by the OIC of the health facility in person of Haj. Ummi Ajiya Idriss around 5:30pm on Tuesday.
Immediately after the successful delivery, the OIC offered the following items to parents of newly born triplets: three set of wrappers for the mother, three set of baby wears, three packages of diapers and four packages of detergents and soap.
The father of the newborn triplets thanked the Almighty Allah, “the giver of life who blessed me with this in this evening despite the fact that I am a poor man.
“I must thank Him as you see both the mother and my babies are in good condition! Let me use this opportunity to thank the OIC and all her staff for their effort and dedication to manage this issue successful at primary level. Only God can reward you,” he said.
He also thanked the Executive Secretary of Yobe State Primary Health Care Management Board (YBSPHCMB) Dr. Babagana Kundi Machina, for providing such dedicated woman Haj. Ummi Ajiya Idriss as OIC PHC Yarimaram.
