
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported 389 new cases of COVID-19, with Lagos State alone accounting for 256 of them
This is coming few hours after Lagos had announced the discharge of 87 patients from isolation centres in the state.
Other cases reported by the NCDC on Wednesday are Katsina-23, Edo-22, Rivers-14, Kano-13 and 11 each for Adamawa and Akwa Ibom.
The rest are Kaduna-7, Kwara and Nasarawa 6 each, and two each for Gombe, Plateau, Abia, Delta, Benue, Niger, Kogi and Oyo, while Imo, Borno, Ogun and Anambra had a case each.

So far, Nigeria has recorded 8733 cases of COVID-19 since March this year. Those discharged are 2501 and deaths recorded 254.
