A traveler has been shot dead and many others abducted as gunmen blocked the Kaduna-Zaria highway for close to an hour, Dateline Nigeria has learnt.
Sani Dogara was killed by the terrorists on his way back to Kaduna from Zaria around 8:00pm Monday night. His funeral prayer will hold today at 11am in his Makarfi Road residence in Rigasa, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The incident happened around Dumbin Rauga, a community some few kilometers from Zaria, where 11 abducted travelers escaped from their captors in August this year.
The Kaduna State Police Command is not immediately available for comment.
