A former Minister of Transport and Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has announced his 2027 presidential bid.
Amaechi made the decision known at the South South Zonal Leadership Committee meeting of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Benin, Edo State on Friday.
A Leader of the ADC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, also a former Edo governor, while fielding questions after the meeting, said the ADC will do what it takes to make the party the choice of Nigerians.
Odigie-Oyegun also urged leaders and party members in the zone to work in unity and learn from each other’s experience, so that the zone could be worthy of emulation. (NAN)
