The Anambra State Police Command has arrested Emeh Nnamdi Daniel, 26, a corps member it declared wanted in February over unlawful possession of a firearm, money laundering, defamation of character, fraud, and Impersonation.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Anamabra State Police Command DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, disclosed this at a press briefing on Friday.
“The suspect, Nnamdi Emeh, fled the country to the Benin Republic before he was arrested by INTERPOL operatives.
“Nnamdi also hacked into one of Mr Chibuike Martins Ekwueme’s accounts and fraudulently transferred a total sum of N47 million only to 14 different accounts owned by him.
“The case is already before the federal high court,” the PPRO said.
