The known All Progressives Congress (APC) factions in Zamfara State have held a grand rally to seal their earlier series of meetings and agreements, bringing an end to acrimony in the ruling party.
The rally, held Monday evening at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Gusau, was attended by all the leaders and followers of all major actors in the APC in the state.

Leaders incluing Governor Bello Mohammed, former Governors Ahmad Sani Yarima, Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi and Abdulazeez Yari were in attendance.
Others included the State Deputy Governor, Senator Hassan Mohammed Nasiha, Senator Kabiru Marafa, Senator Dansadau, Senator Sahabi Yau and a host of others, according to a statement Matawalle’s media aide Zailani Bappa.
“All those in attendance spoke in favour of reconciliation and urged their supporters to forget the past and look into the future.
“All spoke of the virtues of reconciliation and its benefits to the peace and development of Zamfara State,” the statement added.
