Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has approved the appointment of Auwalu Danladi Sankara as a commissioner and member in the Jigawa State Executive Council.
Until his appointment, he was Senior Special Assistant the Governor on New Media.
“The appointment was based on merit, dedication and loyalty, a letter to that effect has been communicated to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation,” a statement said.
Badaru had earlier approved the appointment of Hajiya Hadiza Saminu Turaki as special assistant on women education.
