Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has assigned portfolio a newly inaugurated member of his cabinet.
Alhaji Auwalu Danladi Sankara was assigned to the Ministry of Special Duties as a Commissioner and will oversee the affairs of the State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
This was contained in a statement by the State Commissioner of Information, Youths, Sports and Culture Alhaji Bala Ibrahim at the end of the Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
Sankara, before his appointment as a commissioner and member in the Jigawa State Executive Council, was Senior Special Assistant the Governor on New Media.
