Bagudu approves N33.2m compensation for land acquired for solar power plant

  • Another N11.2m for land acquired for installation of 132X333KV substation

The Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has graciously approved the release of N33,200,000.00 for the payment of compensation of land acquired for the construction of Solar Plant in Kebbi State.

The Solar Plant would be located at Sandare Village in Kalgo Local Government, which covers an area of 170 hecters of land.

The governor has also approved N11,278,000.000 for the payment of compensation of land acquired for the installation of 2X150MVA, 330/132 KVT, 2X60MVA, 132X333KV Substation at kalgo, along Kalgo–Jega road.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Hon. Commissioner of Lands and Housing, Alhaji Mahmud Muhammad Warra and made available to the press this Friday 14th January, 2022.
