Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the purchase of fifty truck load of millet, for distribution free to the twenty one local Government Councils in the State.
This was announced in Birnin Kebbi, on Monday, by the Commissioner for local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Hassan Shalla.
According to the Commissioner, the gesture of the governor was in line with his usual tradition and magnanimity in assisting all categories of people at the period of Ramadan, to observe their fasting with ease.
He thanked the governor for reaching out to people and his unwaivering support to the Ministry, at all times.
