Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Mohammed has inaugurated a 57-member Local Organizing Committee for the forthcoming 36th National Qur’anic Recitation Competition.
The governor disclosed this in a posting on his Facebook page on Saturday, noting that his administration will be donating the sum of N100 million for the exercise.

“I appreciated the selection of Bauchi State to host the national competition and also noted that the Quranic competition is a process of training Muslims, particularly the younger ones, in recitation and the memorisation of the Glorious Qur’an with its translation.
“In support of the 36th edition of the National Musabaqa, my administration is donating the sum of 100 Million Naira. This, in collaboration with Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto, will see that we organise the best ever national Musabaqa.”
