Buhari bids farewell to Col Abubakar, welcomes new ADC

President Muhammadu Buhari has bade farewell to Col. ML Abubakar, his outgoing Aide-De-Camp (ADC), who is proceeding on a promotional course.

The president also welcomed his new ADC Lt. Col. YM Dodo.

Col Abubakar, who has been Buhari’s ADC since 2015, said “It’s been a rare privilege; I cherish each moment I spent with you. You always emphasize we should do the right thing,” the outgoing ADC says

Bashir Ahmad, Personal Assistant on New Media to President Buhari, shared a photo of the outgoing and incoming ADCs on his twitter handle on Monday.

“Col. ML Abubakar, who has been an ADC to President @MBuhari since coming to power in 2015 is proceeding on a promotional course. In the history of Nigeria, Col. Abubakar is the longest serving ADC to a civilian President,” Ahmad tweeted.
