Leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have been attacked by thugs around the NEPA roundabout in Kaduna.
The labour leaders led by their President Ayuba Wabba were protesting over what they termed as the anti-labour policies of Kaduna State Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai when thugs started attacking them with stones.
It took the intervention of the security agents present to avoid escalation and restore calm.
El-Rufai had earlier declared Wabba and other labour leaders wanted, accusing them of economic sabotage.
