Covid-19: Nigeria records 220 new infections as fatalities rise

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 220 new cases of COVID-19, with 62 in Lagos, 52 in FCT, 31 in Kaduna, 13 in Sokoto and 10 in Kebbi.

Others are nine in Yobe, six in Borno, five in Edo, five in Bauchi, four each in Gombe, Enugu and Oyo, three in Zamfara, two each in Nasarawa, Osun, Ebonyi, Kwara, Kano, and Plateau.

Nigeria has now recorded 2,388 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 385 discharged and 85 deaths. Only two states – Kogi and Cross River – have not reported any case.
