The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that 665 new cases of Covid-19 and eight deaths were recorded in the country on Saturday.
The 665 new cases are reported from 13 states- Lagos (369), Anambra (68), Oyo (63), Akwa Ibom (48), Kwara (28), Rivers (26), Edo (21), Ekiti (15), Ondo (13), Delta (7), FCT (3), Ogun (3), and Gombe (1).
Till date, 181,962 cases have been confirmed, 166,826 cases have been discharged and 2,219 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
