As Muslims celebrate Eid el-Kabir, the Emir of Bauchi Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu has called on Nigerians to pray for the country to overcome its numerous challenges.
The emir, who is the State Chairman of Jama’atu Nasril Islam, made the call in a statement signed by the State Secretary General of the group, Engineer Ahmad Jumba.

Alhaji Rilwanu called on the people of the state to reflect on the teachings of sacrifice and be their brothers keepers at all times.
He called on Nigerians regardless of religious affiliation or ethnic lineage to cohabit with one another peacefully and shun utterances that may further cause insecurity and tension in the country.
The statement called on religious and political leaders as well as clerics to observe decorum in their speeches for harmonious and peaceful coexistence.
He also called on politicians to play the game according to the rules and conduct issue based campaigns.
