Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has approved the appointments of Muhammad Bashir Saidu as his new Chief of Staff.
El-Rufai also named Dr Shehu Usman Muhammad as Counsellor (Political) and Jamila Haruna as Special Assistant- Inter-governmental Reations.
A statement on Thursday from El-Rufai’s media aide Muyiwa Adekeye said Mhammad Bashir Saidu returns as Chief of Staff after serving as Commissioner of Finance since April 2019.
“He Joined the govemment in 2015 as Commissioner of Local Government and was first appointed as Chief of Staff in December 2016.
“Dr. Shehu Usman Muhammad has previcusly served as a permanent secretary and as commissicner in the ministres of Educatian and Local
Government.
“Jamila Haruna graduasted with a degree in Economics in 2009 and earned an MBA in Human Resources Management in 2016. She has worked in logistics and as a staff of the Presidential Committee on North East Initiative.
“The appotntments are with effect fram 28h December 2022,” the statement said.
