The Emir of Gumel, Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Sani II has honored the the Vice-Chancellor Federal University Dutse, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed and the Chief Judge of Jigawa state, Hon.Justice Umar Sadiq over their recent appointment as VC and Chief Judge respectively.
The Emir who expressed his gratitude to Allah over their appointment, prayed to Allah to grant them strength and wisdom to discharge their duties and responsibilities effectively.

The royal father who later presented a letter of honor and recognition to the appointees said Gumel emirate is proud of their achievement adding that they should imbibe the spirit of justice and fairness in dealing with all and sundry.
The Emir prayed that their tenure will bring glory and honor to Jigawa state and Nigeria at large.
In his response, the VC, Prof. Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed thanked the royal father and members of the emirate council for honoring them adding that he will continue to strive hard to bring honor to the university, Jigawa and Nigeria at large.
