The FCT Police Command, on the 6th of September 2026, at about 3:30 pm, received a report at Lugbe Police Division from one Gift Amos of Lugbe, FCT, alleging that on the 4th of September 2026, she had an argument with her neighbour, one Mrs. Beauty Monday, during which the suspect poured a pot of boiling water on her back, causing serious burns and grievous hurt.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the incident occurred during an argument over the use of a shared compound space. The action angered the suspect, who subsequently removed the pot from the stove and poured the boiling water on the victim’s back.
