FG supports victims of flood, banditry in Kaduna

The Federal Government’s approved relief support which consists of food items, building materials, clothing and other household essential needs have been delivered to victims of flood disaster and banditry in Kaduna State.

The items were delivered by Nema officials led by the agency’s Director General, Mustapha Habib Ahmed during a symbolic presentation.

The DG represented by the Director, Relief and Rehabilitation, NEMA, Mallam Alhassan Nuhu presented the items to the state government for onward distribution to the affected people.

The DG sympathized with the people who lost their properties and other means of sustenance following the incidents and urged them to be patient at this critical time.

The Kaduna state Government appreciated NEMA’s gesture and promised the relief succour will get to the affected victims accordingly.

Also speaking onbehalf of the affected victims Abdurrashid Abarshi appreciated the FG gesture and assured beneficiaries will make good use of the relief materials given to them.
