Former Governor of Zamfara State Ahmad Sani (Yariman Bakura) has finally revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Party (APC) ending days of speculation about his fate.
Yarima revalidated his membership Gusau, the state capital. The revalidation was carried out by the Bakura local government area registration officer Alhaji Muttaqa Rini and supervised by Alhaji Tijjani Tumsa from the National Secretariat of the party and the North West Zonal Vice-chairman, Alhaji Abba Ali.

“From the bottom of my heart, I have forgiven all those behind my travail for the past few days. It is politics, we will forge ahead and build our party the APC,” Yarima said.
There were reports that the former senator had been denied the opportunity to revalidate his membership. Observers said the rumour stemmed from his absence during the reconciliation of the aggrieved members of the party.
Yarima, who called on the National Registration Committee under Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello not to sideline anybody, commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC Mai Mala Buni for initiating the exercise.
