Fire has destroyed the house of the District Head of Lere Alhaji Sulaiman Muhammad in Gwallaga area of Bauchi metropolis.
A taditional title holder Sa’in Tafawa Balewa, Mallam Yunusa Ado, confirmed the incident to Dateline Nigeria.
He said “We believe the fire was caused by an electrical fault today, Monday, 4/8/2025, when the district head was in his palace in Zwall.
Yunusa said the fire destroyed many valuables and very important properties In the house. “We thank the Almighty Allah for his intervention; the fire was contained, no life was lost and no one was injured”.
He said the arrival of the officials from the State Fire Brigade office helped to put out the fire. Neighbors also helped to move the car in the garage, but there was severe damage to the house and properties
He said, “We pray to God to restore the best of what was lost and to protect the future recurrence.”
