An unidentified corpse has been found in River Kaduna on Wednesday.
Our correspondent observed that many curious residents converged on the River Kaduna bridge to have a look at the swollen corpse, causing a traffic gridlock on the road.
Some are saying the corpse is that of a man that was killed and thrown into the river.
“I was passing by when I noticed a crowd of people on the bridge, just around the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.
“When I stopped I realised that they were looking at a corpse floating inside the river. I learnt that some civil defence personnel refused help, insisting that the police from the jurisdiction should be called,” an eyewitness Abba Ahmad informed Dateline Nigeria.
Dateline Nigeria reports that attempt to reach the police in Kaduna has not been successful.
