Acting Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPoC), Yusuf Muhammad Anka, has died, family sources informed Dateline Nigeria.
He died in Anka, Zamfara State on Tuesday.
Anka, who held the Ciroman Anka, was appointed as national commissioner of NPoC by the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
In his condolence message, the Zamfara State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Hon. Sulaiman Tinau Anka, described the late Anka as a man of good character who lived peacefully with everyone.
He said the death is not just a loss for his family, but for all the people of Anka and Zamfara State as a whole.
