The SOM Sickle Cell Foundation in collaboration with the Yakubu Gowon Centre will on Tuesday hold its 1st National Dialogue on Better Life for Persons Living with Sickle Cell Disorder.
At the event, which will hold at the Merit House, Maitama Abuja by 10am, Pharmacist Zainab Ujudud Sheriff, an expert in Traditional, Alternative and Comparative Medicine, will talk about the efficacy of roots and herbs in the management of SCD.
Also, a Sickle Cell Warrior and Advocate Hauwa Usman Sani will share her experience as a warrior, a wife, a mother and entrepreneur.
“She will be letting us into the world of a thriving Sickle cell Amazon. This is one event on SSD you can not afford to miss,” according to the organisers.
The event has as special guests of honour Minister of Health Dr Osagie Enahire and his Women Affairs counterpart Pauline Tallen.
