Ganduje congratulates Kwankwaso on 65th birthday

Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has congratulated his predecessor Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

In a sponsored message in a number of print media and online, which he shared on his Facebook page, Ganduje prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Kwankwaso more health and prosperity.

“On behalf of my family, Government and good people of Kano State, I am congratulating the former Governor of Kano state, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, on his 65th Birthday.

“May Allah give you more health and prosperity in your future endeavors. Ameen,” Ganduje said in the message.

The content of the sponsored message reads: “Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR, Executive Governor of Kano State, on behalf of my family, goverment and good people of the state, rejoice with His Excellency, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on the occanion of his 65th Birthday Anniverary

“All gatitude be to Almighty Allah for sparing our lives in good health to witness this auspicious anniversary of your birthday.

“Certainly, the modest achievements we recorded while you were Governor and my humble self as the Deputy Governor, which I eventualy built upon and fine tuned as your successor, have no doubt significantly contributed to the growth and development of our dear state and uplifting the general wellbeing of the citizenry.

“Indeed, I humbly acknowledge and cherish our longstanding personal, official and political relationships while it is my ardent hope that you will always offer your invaluable experience as former minister and senator for the continued progress af our state.

“As we join millions of Nigerians in felicitating with you on this auspicious occasion of your 65th Birthday Anniverary, I wish you good health, God’s guidance and many happy returns. Happy Birthday.”

Dateline Nigeria reports that Ganduje and Kwankwaso have been longstanding political associates, with the former serving as the deputy to the latter from 1999 to 2003 and from 2011 to 2015, before relationship between them went sour.
