Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his wife Prof. Hafsat Abdullahi Ganduje paid a condolence visit to the family of a former military administrator of Kano State, Col. Dominic Oneya in Warri, Delta State.
Dominic Oneya was the military administrator of Kano State between August 1996 and August 1998 when Governor Ganduje was state commissioner of works and housing.
Governor Ganduje described Oneya as a patriotic and detribalized Nigerian, saying he died at a time when the country needed his wise counsel.
The governor also paid a congratulatory visit to His Royal Majesty Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko for his coronation as the 21st Olu of Warri at his Palace.
