Gombe gov commiserates with Usman Kumo, Dr. Gaji Bello over uncle’s death

Gombe state Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has expressed sadness over the demise of large- scale farmer and community leader in Kumo, Akko Local Government Area, Alhaji Malam Jauroji who died yesterday at the age of 86 after a protracted illness.

Governor Yahaya in a message of condolence, described the death of the octogenarian as a big loss, not only to his immediate family, but the entire state.

He said the late Alhaji Malam Jauroji was an upright man, exemplary father and selfless leader who touched the lives of many through his generosity and community service within and outside Kumo.

Governor Yahaya conveyed his heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Gombe State, to the nephews of the deceased; Dr. Gaji Ismail Bello who is the Director General, National Population Commission and Hon. Usman Bello Kumo, member representing Akko Federal Constituency in the National Assembly as well as the entire members of the their family over the great loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat firdaus.

Meanwhile, a government delegation, led by the Chief of Staff, Government House, Alhaji Abubakar Inuwa Kari had earlier paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Kumo.

The delegation which comprised members of Gombe State House of Assembly, Commissioners, Special Advisers, PPS and other senior government officials, delivered the Governor’s condolence message and offered special prayers for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased.
