Journalists traveling in the convoy of Gombe State Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya were on Thursday involved in a fatal crash while on their way back to Gombe from Bauchi.
The driver of the crashed vehicle reportedly died, while many are in the hospital, including the Director General (Press) Ismaila Uba Misilli.

The Gombe State Governor was in Bauchi for the 4th North-East Governors’ Forum Meeting which held on Wednesday in Bauchi State.
The details of the crash are still sketchy but the Bauchi State Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Yusuf Abdullahi, confirmed the crash.
