Gombe tops Lagos as Nigeria reports 403 new Covid-19 cases

Cross River still off list of infected states

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported 403 new cases of COVID-19.

Gombe State had more infections than its Lagos counterpart out of the cases reported for Sunday, Dateline Nigeria reports.

The recorded cases showed that Gombe had 73, Lagos-68, Kano-46, Edo-36, FCT-35 and Nasarawa-31.

Others are Kaduna-17, Oyo-16, Abia-15, Delta-13, Borno-13, Plateau-8, Niger-7,Rivers-7, Enugu-6, Ogun-6, Kebbi-3, Ondo-1, Anambra-1 and Imo-1.

With Sunday’s report, Nigeria has now recorded 16,085 cases of Covid-19, out of which 5,220 have been discharged and 420 deaths recorded.

Dateline Nigeria also reports that Cross River State remains the only state in Nigeria yet to report any case of Covid-19.
