Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has congratulated renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi on his 100th birthday.
In a message on Friday on his Facebook page he titled “100 blessed years“, Governor Mohammed said “on behalf of myself, family and the people of Bauchi State, we congratulate our father, teacher and leader Ash-sheik Al-allama Maulana Sheik Ɗahiru Usman Bauchi on his 100th birthday.
He said “No doubt, Sheikh’s life is full of blessings from his teachings, good conduct and sacrifice. We pray to Almighty Allah to bless him with good health and long life.
“The role he plays in the dissemination of Islamic knowledge in Bauchi State, Nigeria, Africa and whole world is unquantifiable. We can only pray to Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly along with our entire scholars, Amin.”
