Gov Radda approves appointment of new health workers in Katsina

In a significant step toward bolstering the state’s healthcare workforce, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, of Katsina State has approved the appointment of 80 new health workers, specifically for Dandume General Hospital.

According to the Governor, the step is in response to increasing public health needs resulting from upgrade of a number Primary Health Clinic to the status General Hospitals.

Governor Radda emphasized the critical role that health professionals play in ensuring quality healthcare delivery.

“This strategic investment in our health workforce will enhance the capacity of our healthcare system to respond effectively to the needs of our communities,” said Radda.

He added that. “As we continue to navigate the challenges posed by the ongoing health crisis, it is imperative that we equip our facilities with dedicated and skilled health workers.”

The newly appointed health workers, which include nurses, medical assistants, and public health specialists, will be deployed to Dandume General Hospital.

Dandume General Hospital has been recently upgraded to the status of General Hospital by the administration of Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda

This initiative aims to address improve patient care, particularly in our underprivileged communities.

“We are committed to not only filling positions but also ensuring that our health workers are well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of our population,” stated the Governor.

In addition to addressing immediate staffing needs, this appointment aligns with the Governor’s broader health initiative, which focuses on “Building your future health goals” of Governor Malam.Dikko Radda.

The appointment of these health workers is not just a victory for our healthcare system but a promise for a healthier future.

Governor Radda remains dedicated to enhancing health services for all, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has access to quality care.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Applicants are to note that the recruitment is for the newly upgraded General Hospital, Dandume in Dandume Local Government Area; therefore, any interested applicants must be willing to stay and work at the new General Hospital Dandume if recruited.

2. All applicants must be indigenes of the state, except for Medical Doctors.

3. All applicants must not be above the age of 50 years at the date of application.

4. All applicants must possess requisite academic qualifications and a current license to practice issued by the relevant professional bodies/councils.

5. Candidates are to note that only those who fulfill the stipulated criteria will be shortlisted for CBT examination.
