Governor Fintiri receives IOM delegation

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Wednesday 18th August 2021 received the delegation of the International Organization For Migration (IOM) with its funding partners United States Agency for International Development (USAID) among others when they paid him a courtesy visit in the Government House, Yola.

The governor called and mandated relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of Government to figure out priority areas for possible Intervention by IOM, and to ensure acquiescence to the directives.

Governor Fintiri thanked the IOM for coming to Adamawa to assist in the areas of needs for the benefit of the people and assured them that the serenity of the state.

He also said they are well secured as the government is on top of the security situation to ensure the protection of lives and property of the citizenry is well secured and protected.

The delegation revealed that IOM and its partners have been in the state for five years and they were in the Government House to ask for Areas the State needs support in the coming years.
