Former President Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for winning the prestigious 2020 International Service Award of the World Affairs Councils of America (WACA).
Jonathan, in his congratulatory message, said “May this new honour bestowed on you redound unto more glory and success to you and other hardworking patriots.”
Dr Okonjo-Iweala had on Wednesday said she was honored to win the 2020 International Service Award of the World Affairs Councils of America.
She thanked WACA “for bringing the world to America through dialogue, debate and action! COVID-19 shows us how interconnected the world is and how important it is to be each other’s keeper.”
